This casual graffiti raised so many questions for me, as I sat in a public convenience that was a basic perforated tin can in a park in Launceston, with a thousand graduates wandering around in uncomfortable shoes just outside.

Surely, if you were THAT horny, you’d have a more relaxed age specification? Why bother specifying age at all? You’d know, I think, that no one under 18 was likely to call you (in the hypothetical situation that anyone read this and considered calling, ya know). It’s the young ones you’d get arrested for, after all, so I can understand the wanting to be above board. So why not just say, horny male, 48, wanting horny female for casual sex?

The other thing I don’t understand, is WHY the age specification 18-46? He’s 48, so even at her oldest, any lady permissable by the tight standards would be at least 13 months younger than him. Why not 48? What does he imagine happens to a woman between the ages of 46 and 48 that would make her outside his (fairly loose, let’s be honest) criteria? It’s almost as if he imagines that 46 is as old as a woman can get and still be horny. What happens beyond? Do her labia fall out? Is this foxy lady less capable of giving the same flippant, casual sex job this guy is after than one 2 years younger?

Everyone’s obsessed with women having to be younger, younger, younger, all the time. I spent 10 minutes on the toilet after a wee that took about 45 seconds, pondering, considering, wondering about this imaginary horny man and his weird, seemingly arbitrary age range for his ‘horny female’.

Did he even think about it that carefully? Probably not. If I was to call him and ask him to explain why he put that age range, I doubt I’d get an answer that satisfied the myriad of troubling questions that modern feminsm is tackling (idealisation of the younger woman’s body, a woman’s sell by date, all that and more crap).

If he was THAT horny, he’d at least have set a wider - older - age range. Or no restrictions at all. Which leads me to believe he’s not that horny at all. So horny ladies, aged 18-46, if you’re looking for a horny guy for casual sex, don’t pick this one. I don’t reckon he’s that horny at all.

Shame there’s no number, I’m sure someone reading this would call just to find out. A “fairly loose” “tight standard”?...
